Membership Requirements

 

To help ensure a smooth and efficient application process, please have the following information ready when you apply:

  • Business Insurance Information – The name of your business insurance provider.

  • Business Banking Information – The name of the bank your business uses.

  • Home Improvement Contractor Registration (where required) – Builders, installers, and service companies may be required to provide proof of registration as a Home Improvement Contractor. This registration is mandatory in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and certain parts of New York State.

  • Professional Reference – Please list one current NESPA Member as a reference or provide your Distributor or Manufacturer company name, along with a contact person.

  • For companies operating in Connecticut, an SP license is required to do business in the state and must be obtained before submitting a membership application. NESPA cannot accept or process a membership application without a valid SP license. For additional details, please review the SP license requirements.

Having this information prepared in advance will help speed up the application review and approval process.
