The Northeast Pool & Spa Association is your voice on legislation and regulations impacting our industry. NESPA GRAC monitors legislative action across the region and represents the pool and spa industry when these important actions are being debated.

 


 

 

NESPA's Government Relations Action Committee (GRAC) brings together dedicated member volunteers and lobbyists on behalf of our members to oppose onerous over-regulation and advocate for our industry. We have important relationships with Federal, State and local officials and are in regular contact to share our industry’s perspective on legislation. 

The Government Relations Action Committee consists of representatives from each of our four chapters.  If you have questions about legislation and government regulations contact NESPA at 609-689-9111.

NESPA’s Volunteer Spotlight – Ron Falcioni & George Kazdin

Congratulations to Ron Falcioni & George Kazdin who both received the 2018 Paulette Pitrak Above & Beyond Award.

Ron & George were recognized for the instrumental role they played in the the hiring and mentoring of NESPA’s Executive Director Dominick Mondi. Their efforts on this front highlight their commitment to the continued success of NESPA and their willingness to go above & beyond to serve the association.

They wre both recognized for bringing  that same sense of dedication to their local chapters  They both continue to be leaders in their own right while being committed to mentoring our next generation of volunteers.

NESPA would like to extend a thank you to both Ron & George for all that they have done and continue to do for the associatin and the pool & spa industry.

The Paulette Pitrak “Above & Beyond” Award is NESPA’s highest volunteer recognition honoring members who have demonstrated an exceptional dedication to our association through their volunteer service.  Learn more about Paulette and her contributions to the Pool & spa industry.

To be considered for the Above & Beyond Volunteer Recognition Award, the nominee must be a NESPA member in good standing who has exhibited extraordinary volunteer work during the current year.  The volunteer work can be done at either or both the Chapter or Region level.  Nominations for the 2018 Award will begin in the Fall.

As a special thank you to NESPA volunteers, we will be highlighting individuals or groups of volunteers that have donated their time to help better our organization and industry.  Know of a volunteer deserving of recognition?  Let us know at info@nespapool.org.  Interested in volunteering for NESPA?  There is a volunteer position for every interest.  Volunteer projects take place throughout the year and can be short term, short time commitments or more in-depth projects.
