Quarter Century Club; Remembering Bob Baron

The annual Quarter Century Club breakfast on the last day of The Pool & Spa Show is a gathering of long-time friends and associates, but it is also a time to remember those who have passed. This year’s breakfast marked the passing of Bob Baron, chairman of the Quarter Century Club and a good friend to those in the industry.

The Training Wall Offers Hands-On Demos in 6 Critical Areas

The Training Wall, that area of the Pool & Spa Show exhibit floor in Atlantic City that is devoted to hands-on training activities for the pool and spa industry, offered hands-on training in six key areas at the 2020 show. Demos included tile repair and renovation, a close look at how to achieve energy efficiency in the pool and spa, electricity, shotcrete, lighting and, new this year, heaters.

Rob Romano Wins Paulette Pitrak ‘Above and Beyond’ Award

NESPA Names Winners of Outstanding Achievement Awards Competition

NESPA announced the winners in its 2019 Outstanding Achievement Awards – Builders and Service Competition -- in Atlantic City, the night before the big Pool & Spa Show opened at its annual Welcome Party, which this year was held at The Saloon Bar at Bally's Hotel.

​Winners of the Best Booth Competition

Putting on The Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City is a big, complex and difficult production. But one of the very toughest jobs at the Show each year, bar none, is being a judge in the “Best Booth” contest and having to select only five booths from among the literally hundreds of beautifully designed booths on the Show Floor for awards.
