NESPA Territory Expansion Events Recap

In October of 2024, The Northeast Spa & Pool Association in partnership with the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance announced the expansion of its’ membership territory to both Western Pennsylvania and Western New York. In an effort to connect with pool and spa professionals who may be interested in becoming involved and helping to grow NESPA’s presence in these regions, Membership Drive Events were organized in the Pittsburgh and Syracuse region in March.

NESPA was able to offer two Pool Openings courses in the Western PA area to potential NESPA members, who were also invited to a night of TopGolf with NESPA in the Pittsburgh area.

The event was a great success and featured a fun-filled night with plenty of opportunities to connect with industry pool & spa professionals including our dedicated NESPA Member Volunteers, and Western Pennsylvanian Attendees!

In the Western NY Region in Syracuse, NESPA also hosted a Networking and Bowling event featuring an insightful presentation from NESPA Member, Jamie Novak (Director Marketing POOLCORP) on Branding and Leadership. Jamie was also present at the Pittsburgh TopGolf event, and had positive experiences in both Pennsylvania and New York.

“It was inspiring to witness so much support for the establishment of new NESPA chapters in Western PA and NY. Both events brought together a diverse group of individuals from across the regions, united by a shared commitment to building a meaningful and impactful new chapter,” shared Jamie. “I’m excited to watch these chapters continue to grow and flourish!”
