The Northeast Pool & Spa Association is your voice on legislation and regulations impacting our industry. NESPA GRAC monitors legislative action across the region and represents the pool and spa industry when these important actions are being debated.

 


 

 

NESPA's Government Relations Action Committee (GRAC) brings together dedicated member volunteers and lobbyists on behalf of our members to oppose onerous over-regulation and advocate for our industry. We have important relationships with Federal, State and local officials and are in regular contact to share our industry’s perspective on legislation.

Due to hands-on learning opportunities and to maximize class interaction, class size is limited.

This comprehensive course includes two training days on tile, coping, and waterproofing, focusing on current industry standards and best practices. Material will be presented in a chronological, hands-on format, starting with initial shell construction through project completion. This course is intended for new/current tile installers, project managers, designers, and general contractors.

Level up your tile installation skills by getting a deeper look at

  • primary and secondary waterproofing
  • vessel penetrations
  • bonded mortar bed construction
  • identification of existing issues
  • glass tile installation
  • expansion mitigation
  • cementitious materials
  • material suitability
  • coping
  • renovation, and much more

Each day’s class will start with a classroom review of tile or coping methods. Industry experts will discuss the necessary tools, selecting materials, and proper wall and surface preparation techniques.

After this classroom instruction, you’ll participate in a hands-on workshop where you’ll put the lessons you learned into practice during a tile or coping installation project. This unique, hands-on opportunity will ensure you are ready to use what you’ve learned on your company’s next job.
