Speaking with One Voice

The Northeast Pool & Spa Association is your voice on legislation and regulations impacting our industry. NESPA GRAC monitors legislative action across the region and represents the pool and spa industry when these important actions are being debated.

NESPA's Government Relations Action Committee (GRAC) brings together dedicated member volunteers and lobbyists on behalf of our members to oppose onerous over-regulation and advocate for our industry. We have important relationships with Federal, State and local officials and are in regular contact to share our industry’s perspective on legislation.

The Government Relations Action Committee consists of representatives from each of our four chapters.  If you have questions about legislation and government regulations contact NESPA at 609-689-9111.

2021 Pool & Spa Show:  Connecting the Pool & Spa Industry

A lot has changed since the 2020 Pool & Spa Show last January. The Northeast Spa & Pool Association's (NESPA) commitment to providing the industry with a way to reconnect, recharge, and reenergize remains the same. The 2021 Pool & Spa Show is moving forward with plans to return, in-person, to Atlantic City, New Jersey, on January 26, 2021.

"The Pool & Spa Show is more than just a 'show'; it is an experience," said Dominick Mondi, Executive Director of NESPA. "We remain confident that, even in light of the challenges COVID-19 created, we can provide that one-of-a-kind experience safely for both our attendees and exhibitors. We know the industry is looking to connect, whether it be with new products, old friends, or innovative training. Honestly, I couldn't be more excited for this year's Show."

Celebrating its 40th Show in 2021, The Pool & Spa Show will feature an Exhibit Floor and a comprehensive Education Conference. Along with the Convention Center and other local partners, the Show will follow strict safety protocols that meet or exceed federal, state, and local health standards.

"While 2020 has presented unique challenges, we've been able to turn these into opportunities to innovate and diversify our Show experience," said Trish McCormick, Show Manager. "Working with our partners in Atlantic City, we're creating an approach that is flexible, functional, and fun."

Both new and returning Show attendees will find creative ways to grow their industry connections, whether it be with focused networking opportunities or scheduled meetings with exhibitors. The Show will continue to deliver on its promise of creating an experience that can't be missed.

"Right now is such an important time to come together, strengthen our relationships and learn from each other," said McCormick. "What has always set us apart as a Show is that we are produced for the industry by the industry. We understand that our Show is the kick-off to the season, and we intend to deliver for our industry."
