New York: COVID-19 Update

 

Status of the Pool & Spa Industry

  • Pool Industry Construction is open 
  • Pool & Spa Maintenance is open
  • Non-Essential Retail is open but most follow in-store shopping guidelines 
  • The Governor has stated public pools can be open for use at the discretion of local authorities
 The State  has announced a "Cluster Action Initiative" focused on COVID-19 hot spots.  More details on this action can be found here. To view the latest information from the State click here. 
(New 1.11.21). The Small Business Administration is reopening the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for First Draw Loans the week of January 11, 2021.  This program provides small businesses with funds to pay up to 8 weeks of payroll costs including benefits. Funds can also be used to pay interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities.  Learn more from the Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
