President's Message

Now that spring has officially sprung, the mad dash to summer swim season is upon us.  With the change in temperatures, we all are experiencing a change in our schedule and increasing demands on our time.

No matter how many seasons we’ve all lived through, each spring presents its own unique challenges from customers and from staff.  While there are only so many hours in the day and days in the week, we all seem to make it work in the end.

I wanted to share with you a new way NESPA is offering to make training yourself and your staff a little easier.  We are now offering APSP certification courses online.  The courses include the APSP Certified Pool & Spa Service Technician, APSP Certified Pool & Spa Maintenance Specialist and the APSP Pool & Spa Construction Course which prepares students to become a Certified Pool & Spa Building Professional.

These online courses give you the flexibility to determine when and where you’d like your staff to take a course.  Courses can be taken at nights or weekends, when heavy rain is stopping you from working in the field or simply when a few hours of time pop up on your staff’s schedule.  You can require staff to log into the courses at your office or at their homes.  Rather than blocking out a full week out of the office, you can create the training timeline that works for your business.

What’s exciting about this program is that you’ll get the convenience of online training with the extraordinary customer service and industry expertise you’ve come to expect from a NESPA training course.

As more students enroll in the program, NESPA will be offering additional ways to review course materials and prepare students to successfully pass the certification exams.

You can find out more about these online courses on the NESPA website – here and you can reach out to our staff with any questions you might have on how to use these online programs in 2019 training plan.

Here’s to a successful Spring!
