BREAKING: Pool Licensing Passes

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has signed into law a bill creating license requirements for both pool service contractors and pool builders/installers doing work in the State of New Jersey. The regulations will go into effect on July 30, 2019.

NESPA and the Penn Jersey Chapter are working together to make sure you have the information you need about this important change to our industry. Under this new law Pool & Spa Builders/Installers will be required to hold an APSP Certified Building Professional (CBP) designation.  A Pool & Spa Service Contractor will be required to have an APSP Certified Service Technician (CST) designation, an APSP Certified Service Professional (CSP), or an APSP Certified Building Professional (CBP). Spa service contractors will be able to hold an APSP Certified Hot Tub Technician (CHTT).

Business Roundtables

Penn Jersey turned out in strong numbers for this year's edition of the popular business roundtables series. The formula for the event was simple, attendees visited with colleagues and topic experts for a few hours to talk through their pressing challenges. By the end of the morning, attendees left with a fresh perspective, along with new battle-tested ideas that they could put into action.
