Purpose of scholarships:
To enable employees to take advantage of education programs being offered in PTI and to assist members in reaching a higher level of performance.

Description of awards:
Scholarships will be awarded for any PTI classes held in Morganville, NJ. Scholarships can include the cost for any manuals or books required for class. Awards will continue to be given until allocated funds for year are exhausted.

Procedures/Criteria for evaluation:

Provide ongoing scholarships during PTI schedule rather then once a year

Eligibility to be based on employee and/or company financial needs: honor system as no documentation will be required

Company must be current NESPA member in good standing and have held membership at least one year

Employee must be employed on a full time basis in a position directly related to the pool and spa business

Scholarships are limited to one employee per company per year

Individual applicant must not have received a scholarship in the previous program year

Employee must submit completed application with company’s sign off

Scholarships awarded to program selections on a space available basis

All scholarships are awarded on a first come first served basis, but all applications must be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to course selections

Recipients must attend full program as scheduled, or re-apply for future programs

Scholarships are not transferable to another student

Applicants will be notified of their selection within two weeks of the starting date of program

Recipients are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses
