NESPA is the Northeast Affiliate of the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) formerly known as NSPI, a worldwide professional trade association. NESPA, founded in 1958, represents the pool and spa industry in the Northeast and serves APSP members through education, promotion and representation. NESPA consist of five chapters, Capital, CONSPA, Long Island, Metro NY-NJ and PennJersey. Members include service companies, builders/installer, distributors, retail stores, manufacturer's agents, manufacturers, independent pool and spa service companies and sub-contractors.

APSP has worked for decades to produce the most up to date, comprehensive technical standards for all types of pools and hot tubs all of which are approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Legislative/Regulatory Representation and Advocacy NESPA is the voice for pool and spa professionals in NY, NJ, PA and CT. NSPI is your voice in Washington DC. We provide you with up-to-date information on regulations governing your business, and monitor the latest legislative initiatives that impact the pool and spa industry. We investigate member problems at local and state levels and assist with regulation and code issues.

NESPA and its chapters present a wide variety of educational opportunities that include pool and spa seminars at the Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show, Professional Training Institute hands-on training courses in our Hamilton, NJ facility and at sites throughout our four state region as well as APSP certification courses.
We present programs leading to the CSP (Certified Service Professional) and the CBP (Certified Building Professional) designations. Individuals awarded these certifications are recognized by the industry and the public for achieving a high level of professional competence.
AC Pool & Spa Show
Created by NESPA in 1982, the Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show has grown into the industry's largest, most productive regional trade show. The Show offers members an enormous selection of business and technical education, the ability to interface with professionals from over 400 exhibiting companies and the opportunity to network with over 8,000 industry peers.
