Community Service Highlight:

Ms. Dehn has taken leadership role in over a dozen community organizations while maintaining high academic success throughout her high school education.  During her freshman year in high school, she launched a successful community service project to aid those devastated by the earthquake in Haiti.  She led a program to collect shoes for those in need after the earthquake and through her leadership many individuals received assistance in their time of need.

Community Service Highlight:

After a tragic accident caused Mr. Torchia to undergo an extended hospital stay, he committed himself to thanking the organizations that played a part in his recovery and to helping future patients get the care they needed.   To thank the New York Blood Center and Maria Ferrara Hospital, he has held numerous blood drives and took part in several fundraising walks raising tens of thousands of dollars to support the hospital.
