Important PTI Information
The Professional Training Institute (PTI) , sponsored by the Northeast Spa and Pool Association (NESPA), APSP Affiliate, is the pool and spa industry's premier training program. PTI encompasses technical and business training using both the classroom setting as well as extensive hands-on work.
Instructors: NESPA makes every effort to provide the most experienced and qualified instructors for each course. Each attendee will be asked to give a complete evaluation after each course. These evaluations are reviewed and used to improve future programs.
Registrations: For any of the courses listed, please photocopy the registration form in the brochure and complete all student, company, payment and course code information. Mail or fax to NESPA, 6B South Gold Drive, Hamilton, NJ 08691. Fax 609-689-9110. Fees must be paid prior to the course.
Course Codes: It is important to submit the appropriate course code when registering. The codes are critical to all of NESPA'' record keeping. Multiple Student Discounts: If more than one person from your company registers for a specific course, a 10% discount will apply to each subsequent student for the same course. Non-member rates: Add 50% to the price listed.
Cancellation Policy: Fees are fully refundable for cancellations up to three business days prior to the course. Due to demand and limited class size, there will be a charge of 50% of the course fee for no-shows and for those who cancel with less than three-business days notice.
APSP Credits: All courses have been approved for credit hours toward APSP Certified Builders (CBP) and Service Technicians (CSP). If you are in need of official CEU's to fulfill education requirements in other professional or education institutions, please contact NESPA prior to registration.

Time: all courses are 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

TECH I is designed for those with one to three years of field experience. It is the first-level course in APSP's Certified Service Professional Program (CSP) for pool and spa technicians. TECH I certification will also help those seeking a State of Connecticut Service License fulfill their education requirements.
Non-NESPA Members: If you are not a member of the Northeast Spa & Pool Institute (NESPA), APSP Affiliate, add an additional 50% to the fees listed for each course.
